ELAINE MURPHY

I am a playwright, screenwriter, and actress from Dublin. 

My plays have been performed internationally and in theatres across Ireland, including The Abbey Theatre, The Gaiety, and The Olympia. 

I am the recipient of the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award (Overall Winner at the Edinburgh Fringe), two Zebbie Awards from the Irish Writers Guild for Best Theatre Script and Best Radio Script, and the Stewart Parker Award for Drama (BBC Northern Ireland). 

I am currently under commission with The Abbey Theatre.
